Role and Responsibilities
As a Early Childhood Teacher with KinderCare, you will play a key role in supporting each child’s learning and developmental milestones while ensuring a safe and encouraging classroom environment where children can grow, explore, and succeed. You will collaborate with families and fellow educators to deliver an exceptional early childhood experience.
- Deliver KinderCare’s curriculum while adapting lessons to meet individual developmental needs.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning space.
- Build meaningful, positive connections with children, families, coworkers, and community partners.
- Work closely with parents to support children’s progress and ongoing learning.
- Contribute to center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and community involvement.
- Adhere to all state licensing requirements and KinderCare policies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong customer service skills, excellent organization, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Must meet state-specific hiring requirements or be willing to obtain required qualifications.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to complete certification.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds, participate in indoor and outdoor activities, and physically engage with children.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English with children and families.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or eligibility under NAEYC candidacy standards.
- Two to three years of experience working in early childhood education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Approval as a state trainer (preferred).
Compensation and Benefits
