With over twelve years of a legacy of innovation, we're at the forefront of building reliable, affordable mass weapons that protect and empower our nation’s warfighters. Our tight-knit team thrives in a collaborative environment where safety, quality, and work-life balance come first with a focus on professional growth at our new 27,000+ sq. ft. facility. Join us to make a tangible impact on mission-critical technology while enjoying Northern Virginia's vibrant community.
Position: You will play a key role in designing and developing modern front-end applications and tools that support advanced missile programs. This cross-functional position focuses on creating intuitive, high-performance user interfaces, visualization tools, and engineering applications that ideally utilize any background experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) and/or flight dynamics. You will collaborate with other GNC engineers, embedded flight engineers and system engineers to design, development and maintenance of practical, interactive software solutions including 3D visualizations, geospatial displays, trajectory analysis tools, and test automation interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain UI/UX-focused applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks.
- Build rich interactive tools including 3D visualizations, mapping/geospatial displays, trajectory viewers, and engineering dashboards.
- Create and enhance internal and external GUI-based applications, data analysis interfaces, and other tools across company contracts.
- Perform front-end integration with back-end services, embedded systems, or simulation environments; troubleshoot performance and usability issues.
- Conduct code reviews, unit/string testing, and support integration test teams and customers with validation, verification and incorporating feedback.
Qualifications
- 0–5 years of software engineering experience using TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Interest in 3D visualization, mapping, or geospatial technologies.
- Exposure to desktop or web application development.
- Background with aerospace engineering, flight dynamics, or GNC.
- Comfortable working with trajectory planning, coordinate systems, and geospatial data.
- Able to translate aerospace concepts into practical software implementations.
- Experience building engineering or simulation tools beyond standard web applications.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Cesium, WebGL, or similar frameworks.
- Expertise with modern JS frameworks, such as Electron and React.
Beyond competitive pay, we offer
- Full benefits from day one: medical, dental and vision
- 401(k) with generous company match and immediate vesting
- PTO and Federal holidays
