Your Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to support various programs within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors sector. Your expertise in electrical engineering principles and teamwork will be crucial as you contribute to the design and development of advanced electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the electrical design sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System and pioneer the next generation of launching and weapon systems across diverse platforms.
  • Apply your electrical engineering and electronics skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful design outcomes.
  • Engage with senior internal and external personnel regarding significant technical matters.
  • Participate in the design, development, and testing of electrical components, sub-systems, and systems.
  • Produce technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings, parts lists, test procedures, and reports to meet customer and company standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related scientific field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams in electronic system development.
  • Practical knowledge of Electrical System Integration, Complex Cable Design, Printed Wiring Board Design, Circuit Card Assembly Design, Electrical Bonding and Grounding, and FPGA selection/programming.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the SECRET level.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with DOD and US Navy projects that utilize military standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance. Only US citizens are eligible for consideration.

Work Flexibility: This role includes part-time remote work and part-time in the office at a designated Lockheed Martin facility, with a flexible weekly schedule to be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule: 4x10 hour day schedule, allowing for three days off per week.

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $91,000 - $172,488. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, and various support programs.
