Part-Time Administrative Assistant
LHH is partnering with an organization seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant for a precision machine and welding company. This role focuses on vehicle and driver documentation, ensuring DOT compliance, and maintaining organized electronic and paper records. Ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who works independently and thrives in a structured office environment.
Location: Annapolis, MD
Schedule: 2–3 days per week, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 20 hours A week
Compensation: $19–$23/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain employee certifications and schedules for DOT, flagger, and other required credentials
- Track vehicle and equipment files, ensuring DOT compliance
- Maintain driver records and DOT cards
- Run reports and keep electronic and paper files organized
- Answer incoming calls and direct as needed
- Support other office team members as necessary
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Prior administrative experience preferred
Work Environment
- Onsite role with individual office spaces; minimal daily interaction required
- Street parking available
- Monitored office environment
