About the opportunity:

The Midwifery Unit Manager

  • is responsible for coordinating and managing the operational, financial, human and information resources within the departments.

  • The role encompasses oversite and leadership of the Mercy @ Home, Lactation and Parent Education departments.

  • Be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, leading the way and progressing HITH/NITH programs ensuring families are provided a highly responsive and flexible services in their homes.

  • Excellent Leadership, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
