Job description
We are looking for a high-impact Business Development Executive (BDE) / Manager (BDM) in technology consulting focuses on driving revenue by identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and pitching tailored IT services. A revenue driver who builds pipelines, drive client acquisition, wins logos, and grows accounts, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships in the IT staffing and technology consulting space
You will own the complete sales lifecycle — from identifying prospects to closing deals — leveraging modern tools including AI, LinkedIn, and business need portals.
Location: NYC Preferred, Full-time (Open to other locations too)
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Own new client acquisition across IT staffing and consulting utilizing platforms like AI tools ChatGPT/Claude, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or Seamless.ai reach, email campaigns to find prospects and win the right clients.
- Client Engagement: Conducting needs assessments, presentations, and technical demonstrations. Work with delivery leadership to build long-term accounts
- Relationship Management: Building lasting partnerships to increase sales volume.
- Sales Cycle Management: Driving the entire process from cold outreach to deal closure.
- Analytical Skills: Understanding complex technical concepts to propose solutions. Hunter mentality with a consultative approach
Typical Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2–8 years in sales, specifically IT services in B2B IT staffing or tech consulting sales.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Key Traits: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Business portals section — Dice, Tech Fetch, Monster, Career Builder, Beeline, and Fieldglass or any other standard VMS/staffing portals. Adjust based on the markets you serve (US/India).
- Existing network in any vertical is a big plus
- High activity mindset focused on face time with decision makers and influencers
- Competitive, self-motivated, and hungry to prove yourself in a bigger arena
- Strong communicator, ability to build rapport and contextualize value propositions
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Exposure to IT services, staffing, consulting, or technology sales is a plus
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
