AWS System Administrator

We are currently looking for System Administrator for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years progressive experience in system administration and technical support. 

Must have B.Sc. degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field. 

Professional certification is preferable (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and AWS certified) 

Required Skills: 

• Good communication skills. 
• Must be Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing) and 

preferably Arabic. 

• Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues 

promptly. 

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
• Patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude. 
• Experience Servers, Storage devices and patch management 
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery (Preferable). 
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms 
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Install and configure software and hardware 
• Managing on-premises and cloud servers and storages. 
• Managing and maintaining Active Directory. 
• Managing and maintaining Windows & Linux server OS.  
• Managing Microsoft Office365 Admin account. 
• Managing AWS accounts. 
• Set up accounts and workstations 
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements 
• Troubleshoot issues and outages 
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and antivirus server. 
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models 
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies 
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies 
• Setting up new users and giving them access to the intranet 
• Managing and maintaining the file servers 
• Employing the latest security protocols
