Staff Product Marketing Specialist - Power MOSFET

We are seeking a motivated, self-driven individual with experience in Power Electronics to help power the rapid expansion of the AI datacenter market. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical and business skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive success in the semiconductor industry, specifically focusing on our global Silicon Power MOSFET products. Renesas is making major investments in growing its power business with a lot of focus from the highest levels of management. While this is an earlier-career position, it is a pivotal role with high visibility, where you will be trusted with significant responsibility to work independently and translate market needs into winning products.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Business Growth: Execute global product promotion activities for Power MOSFETs, specifically targeting the AI Datacenter market, to ensure product line revenue and profitability.
• Shape the Roadmap: Contribute to product and roadmap definition by collating inputs from the field, customers, and emerging market trends.
• Build Business Cases: Develop clear, compelling business cases to justify new product investments and outline global market opportunities.
• Align Technical Requirements: Collaborate closely with R&D and applications teams to define precise product requirements based on customer needs.
• Secure Design-Ins: Interface with Sales, FAE, and Regional Marketing teams to coordinate technical and non-technical support, driving customer design wins.
• Execute Independently: Manage end-to-end product marketing tasks autonomously, acting as the primary bridge between market demands and cross-functional execution.
• 25% travel, within TW, to China, and Globally (less often).

MUST have:

• BSEE or related field with 5+ years of experience in product marketing, field applications, or technical business development in the semiconductor industry.
• Exceptional and fast learning capability, with a proven track record of picking up complex technical concepts on the job.
• A highly independent, self-driven work style with a proven ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across a global, cross-functional organization.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin to support local and global teams.

GOOD to have:

• Foundational knowledge of power electronics, specifically Silicon Power MOSFETs or power supply architectures.
• Familiarity with the AI datacenter market, server power ecosystems, or enterprise computing.
• Previous experience assisting with business cases, market analysis, or product lifecycle management.
