Job description

Provide data intelligence through generation of complex reports and analyses from multiple cross-functional sources to substantiate business decisions and recommendations. Identify trends & patterns in datasets, locate points of influence, and communicate synthesized data results. Conduct deep analysis of various attributes (e.g., product, technology, sentiment, segment, business entity, customer) to determine key drivers. Define, analyze and translate business requirements and Use Cases partnering with Business Stakeholders and SMEs to resolve business problems. Assist business functions with data analysis for business/value case development for key strategic initiatives. Model internal business processes and data flow, identifying critical components that affect functionality and system performance. Identify operational improvement opportunities through analysis of business drivers and practices. What You’ll Do: • Performs portions of reports and data analysis based on understanding of the function’s business context, requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience • Begins to identify data anomalies and may provide recommendations on additional data needed to support analytics • Analyzes and identifies trends and patterns in dataset and interprets for client • Supports ongoing business analysis programs, initiatives and activities • Receives regular and general instruction, guidance and direction from others on the creation and delivery of specific reporting tasks and reports • Communicates basic and moderately-complex concepts; interacts with others to inform and provide suggestions for action • Impacts own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related • May suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team • Basic understanding of Cisco’s business objectives and developing understanding of Cisco’s products, services and customers • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions or to recommend alternative resolutions • Works on problems of moderate scope that may require analysis of situations, data or problems • Collaborates with peers and more experienced colleagues • Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors and Managers • Participates as a member of a project team Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors + 2 years of related experience, or Masters + 0 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications Varies based on the team and business needs | Preferred Qualifications are desired education, experience, and skills that are in addition to Minimum Qualifications.
