SECURITY OFFICERS--FOOT PATROL--PART-TIME - (MSP GUARD CARD REQUIRED)
SCHEDULE: FOOT PATROL / SHOPPING CENTER
Wed-Sunday 2:00PM-6:00PM.
Part-time 20 Hrs.
$17.15 PER HOUR
- * MSP GUARD CARD IS REQURIED **
FULL TIME EMPLOYEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FULL BENEFITS AFTER THEIR PROBATION PERIOD-- PART TIME EMPLOYEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PTO
REQUIREMENTS
At Master Security, we are committed to providing our clients with the most qualified candidates to safeguard their assets, property, and personnel. We have established a set of criteria that our security officers must meet to ensure optimal service delivery and to enhance their chances of success during their tenure with us. The criteria include:
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Legal work status in the US
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Reliable and functional transportation (Public transportation is not acceptable)
- Ownership of a cell phone for contact by Operations Supervisors
- Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
- Ability to obtain an MD Guard Card
- Ability to perform duties as stated in post orders, which may include standing/walking for extended periods or lifting
- Familiarity with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)
- Possession of a VALID full driver’s license (public transportation is not acceptable)
DUTIES/WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Maintain a daily log of all activities during your assigned shift at your assigned post
- Document all incidents occurring during your assigned shift in a detailed incident report
- Conduct walking/vehicular patrols throughout your shift
- Enforce customer rules in a professional and courteous manner
- Arrive on time and in proper uniform at your assigned post
- Ability to interact and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate emergencies effectively
- Ability to quickly and accurately identify critical issues and respond appropriately
