As Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operational excellence. - Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of crew members to ensure consistent service quality and operational efficiency
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs while ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours
- Train and develop team members on company procedures, customer service standards, and product knowledge
- Address customer concerns and complaints professionally, implementing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor and control food costs, waste, and inventory levels to maximize profitability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both staff and customers
- Assist with marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive sales and customer engagement
- Communicate effectively with management regarding performance metrics, staffing needs, and operational challenges
- Perform cash reconciliation and ensure accurate financial record-keeping
- Support the General Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators
- 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience in food service, quick-service restaurants, or hospitality industry
- Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service excellence with a focus on creating positive customer experiences
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
- Knowledge of food safety standards and health code compliance
- Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Conflict resolution and mediation skills
