What We Offer Certified Sterile Processing Technician - Must be certified to be considered Location: Clemmons Medical Center, Clemmons, NC Department: Sterile Processing Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift - 11a-7:30p - 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday On-Call: Occasional on-call weekends/holidays Our Sterile Processing Department is a critical unit responsible for the lifecycle management of medical instruments and equipment for 3 operating rooms at Clemmons Medical Center. What You'll Do Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipment Ensures the instruments and equipment are available Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient care. Experience : One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays.
