Overview Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Senior Information Systems Specialist to support our Austin, TX operations. In this position, you would be a key part of the Information Technology team supporting our production and distribution operations. To be successful in this role, you will use your interpersonal skills and technical expertise to meet the needs of the Lutron production operations and their people. You will leverage your technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, problem solving abilities, proven communication skills, and time management abilities to add value in the Austin operation. Responsibilities Ensure IT System uptime for manufacturing lines and support staff. Manage IT equipment inventory in Austin – tracking, procurement, and distribution. Implement company-wide IT initiatives to our Austin location to ensure compliance, increase security, or improve performance. Provide IT support and customer service to Austin team members. Serve as Tier 2 “PC Helpdesk” for local employees. Properly document and manage all current IT systems in the facility. Support applications in the production facility. Function as the interface between corporate and the local facility for all IT matters. Coordinate with corporate IT to ensure we have the proper infrastructure to support the business now and in the future. Support general IT production needs. Build and hone your skills in multiple IT disciplines. Be flexible and help with other projects and responsibilities as needed.
