We're looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing progressive medicine, values teamwork, and wants the freedom to practice with confidence. Our brand-new hospital offers advanced technology, including therapeutic laser, stem cell therapy, acupuncture, dental radiography, and surgery, while caring for dogs, cats, and occasional exotic patients.

Essential Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals
  • Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate care plans
  • Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options
  • Deliver compassionate guidance through all stages of a pet's life, including end-of-life care
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Practice in accordance with veterinary ethics and medical standards

Requirements/Qualifications

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed

Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
