All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite policies Promote company core values to foster and safeguard family-centric culture Assists in counseling employees and managers on the application and interpretation of company policies, practices, procedures and applicable employment law ID staff conflicts and suggest potential solutions: risk mitigation Employee engagement is key: connect employees to E2 Optics core values Management of the company's overall human resource administrative needs Manage HRIS System Manage SWAT operations staff internal travel communications Oversight of all on-boarding, off-boarding activities, and insight to retain talent Keeps abreast of overall human resources laws, regulations and procedures Ensure procedures are carried out and comply with employment laws and regulations Monitors performance management program Lead benefits enrollment and yearly renewal Lead and Develop Human Resource staff: 1) Policy interpretation, implementation, practices, procedures. 2)Compliance Partner and guide supervisors and leads: 1) Training, coaching, and motivation. 2) Assist with reporting requirements. 3) Identifying areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities. 4) Hold leaders accountable for doing the same with their own people Communicates employment changes to HRD and other departments for employee on- and offboarding, status changes, accommodations Management oversight to complete and tracks FMLA, Military leave, LOA Compiles Affirmative Action data and ensures its accuracy Assist Recruiters and Payroll Manager as needed This position is generally expected to require minimal overnight travel (5%) The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics Additional Responsibilities: As identified and assigned What We Are Looking For Bachelors degree preferred in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership or similar study 6 + years Human Resource experience in progressively responsible leadership roles will be considered in lieu of bachelors degree PHR Certification preferred 4+ years in progressively responsible leadership roles within Human Resource management Minimum 3 years previous Human Resource Generalist or Employee Relations experience Experience working in a construction or manufacturing environment preferred Solid working knowledge of principles and procedures Knowledge of business and management principles involved in leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Knowledge of laws, government regulations, and requirements Active listening, critical thinking Judgment and decision making Social perceptiveness Complex problem solving Time management Service orientation, Instructing Oral expression and comprehension; speech clarity Written comprehension and written expression Deductive / inductive reasoning Problem sensitivity What We Offer Competitive pay Opportunities for professional development and career growth BICSI training facilities A supportive and inclusive work environment Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Work Environment and Physical Demands The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces.
