  • Standard Practices & Procedures (SPP): Oversee and verify compliance with our Standard Practices and Procedure (SPP) requirements for all relevant classified programs within the region.
  • DCSA Readiness: Prepare facilities for DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVAs) and inspections, proactively identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities, ensuring successful outcomes, and managing post-inspection actions.
  • Strategic Up-channeling: Serve as the primary liaison between regional FSOs and the Deputy Director of Industrial Security, providing timely and accurate upchanneling of critical information, risks, and regional insights.
  • Business Integration: Actively engage with business line leaders, program managers, and contracts teams to understand current and future security requirements, integrating security considerations early in the program lifecycle for all East Coast contracts.
  • FSO Coverage: Provide direct FSO support and coverage as needed during FSO absences, staffing transitions, or high-workload periods, ensuring uninterrupted security operations and compliance.
  • Project Management: Lead and execute strategic projects and initiatives for the broader Industrial Security team, driving efficiency, innovation, and standardization across the organization.
  • Regional Insight & Forecasting: Serve as the regional focal point for all industrial security matters, providing clear, concise, and actionable insights into Area of Responsibility (AOR) challenges and opportunities, and proactively forecasting potential security issues or regulatory changes.
  • Cross-functional Security Integration: Act as a key liaison and ensure seamless coordination and information sharing with Cyber Assurance, Classified IT, InfoSec, Physical/Corporate Security, Counterintelligence, Insider Threat, and other relevant internal departments to foster a holistic and integrated security posture across the region.
  • Secure Space Development: Work with the construction security team by participating in the planning and design of new secure facilities by ensuring compliance with 32 CFR, Part 117 NISPOM requirements, and preparing for DCSA accreditation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of industrial security operations in the region.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the Industrial Security department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in industrial security, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing multiple FSOs or facilities.
  • Current and active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) 32 CFR Part 117, DCSA industrial security policies, and other relevant security directives (e.g., ICDs).
