Carbon Data Analyst intern M/F

Join the Operation & Management Service Line (O&M).

You will support Egis’ decarbonization journey for O&M companies operating motorways, airports, metro systems, and mobility services worldwide. 

You will help monitor and report on our Scope 1-2-3 greenhouse gas emissions, using our internal data platform and audited carbon footprint tool. Reporting directly to the Project Manager ESG / Climate, you will gain hands-on experience in carbon reporting—a key component of Egis’ mission toward decarbonization. 

Your main responsibilities: 

• Support the team in carbon reporting and help O&M companies advance their decarbonization efforts 
• Collect ESG data, ensuring it is accurate, complete, and evidence-based 
• Improve reporting processes and remove pain points 
• Investigate how to automate data processes and design new dashboards 
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders, including O&M Regional and Domain Directors 
• Present and communicate insights to O&M companies 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school or university in Sustainability, Data Management, or related field 
• Looking for a 6-month gap year or end-of-studies internship 
• Fluent English for professional interaction 
• Rigorous, strong analytical skills, attention to detail and proactive in showing initiative 
• Passion for sustainability and willingness to make decarbonization a reality 
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite 
• Familiarity with the SBTi (Science-Based Target initiative) and experience with data visualization (Power Bi) is appreciated
