MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Network Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of US Air Force Network Operations. You will play a crucial role in Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) program seeking to modernize and overhaul existing Department of the Air Force network infrastructure (Classified and Unclassified/NIPR and SIPR) with the goal to modernize the networks to industry standards by providing increased availability and resiliency of networks, reliable performance for all users through more pervasive wireless connectivity, and a modern network architecture.

• Subject matter expert on network enterprise solutions using LAN, MAN, and WAN technologies.
• Able to configure switching and routing systems to customer environments.
• Able to install Ethernet equipment to include physical installation of switches, running of fiber and copper jumpers, and labeling.
• Respond to customer requests for support in resolving BAN networking issues including troubleshooting, configuration and optimization.
• Supervise network administration duties.
• Maintain the customers NAC solution (Cisco ISE) and Cisco Catalyst Center in an SDA environment. 
• Cisco Wireless LAN Controller experience a plus

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or Experience
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Security clearance level: Secret
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements: DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification requirements

The likely salary range for this position is $132,600 - $179,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
