Test Engineer

Our client is a rapidly growing technology focused federal integrator supporting the FAA to modernize their communication systems across the country. After being awarded a 20 year program with the FAA (currently on phase 1), our client is ramping up in hiring Systems Test Engineers to support the modernization of Voice Communication Systems for Air Traffic Control.

Responsibilities

• Insight Global is seeking to hire multiple System Test Engineers to sit in Frederick, MD, supporting a large technology systems company. This role is supporting a large FAA program focused on modernizing voice communication systems within Air Traffic Control. Responsibilities include:
• Deploying and testing IP based voice communication systems
• Support development plans according to program requirements
• Create and execute test cases
• Generate test reports, problem/defect reports, mitigation plans
• Work with the design team to maintain verification requirements traceability matrix (VRTM)

Must Haves

• 2+ years of Systems Test experience (executing test programs)
• Configuring and Analyzing VoIP networks
• Ability & Willingness to Travel from Frederick, Maryland (expenses covered) across the country 65% of the time. Individuals working over time will be paid 1.5x hourly rates.
