Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient Location: First Floor, Medical Office Building, 51 North 39th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 Duration: 13 Weeks Contract Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, provide excellent patient service, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation, labeling, and dispensing of prescription medications
• Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Handle insurance claims, prior authorizations, and billing processes
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and expiration monitoring
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active Pharmacy Technician certification/registration (as per state requirements)
• Previous outpatient or retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with pharmacy management systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar)
• Knowledge of insurance processing and third-party billing
