The Opportunity

RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing, clinician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of primary care services. You will work alongside a collaborative team with strong clinical and operational support, allowing you to focus on patient care while leveraging modern care models and technology. What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan

  • See approximately 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles

  • Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes

  • Practice in collaboration with supervising physicians in accordance with Rhode Island regulations, including consultation and referral as appropriate

  • Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management

  • Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives

  • Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records

  • Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional)

  • Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available)

  • Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment

Who You Are

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (required)

  • Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) (required)

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island (required)

  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain (required)

  • Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain (required)

  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care (required)

  • Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment

  • Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)

Salary range
$120,000-$130,000 USD
