Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced instructor to teach high school students the fundamentals of video game design and coding using the Scratch platform ( The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and a genuine interest in educating and inspiring young minds.

Responsibilities

• Teach students the principles of game design, including storyboarding, character development, and game mechanics.
• Guide students through hands-on projects to create their own video games.
• Provide individualized support and feedback to students to help them improve their coding skills and creativity.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Experience with the Scratch platform and a strong understanding of coding principles.
• Previous teaching experience, particularly with high school students, is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process.
• A passion for video games and a desire to share that passion with students.
