Video Camera Operator

The Video Camera Operator captures high-quality video footage for various productions, including live events, commercials, interviews, and multimedia projects. This role requires a keen eye for framing, lighting, and movement to ensure visually engaging content that meets the project’s creative vision and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate video cameras to record footage according to production requirements
• Adjust camera settings such as focus, exposure, and zoom to capture optimal shots
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other crew members to achieve desired visual outcomes
• Ensure proper camera maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and keep equipment in good working order
• Monitor lighting and sound conditions to enhance video quality during recording
• Edit and review recorded footage to ensure consistency and adherence to project specifications
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols while operating camera equipment on location or in studios
