Pharmacy Technician - White Plains, NY

A day shift Production Pharmacy Technician role is available in a closed-door long-term care facility located in Bardonia, New York. This direct hire opportunity starts ASAP and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose formats to ensure timely delivery to residents.
• Assist with medication ordering, receiving, and stocking, maintaining proper storage conditions and monitoring expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records in compliance with facility protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• NY State Pharmacy Technician License is preferred but not required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Frameworks software is a plus; training will be provided if necessary.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Rotating weekend shifts

This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive LTC pharmacy environment with a manageable daily prescription volume of approximately 600. Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of maintaining high standards in medication preparation and documentation.
