Pharmacy Tech | New Rochelle, New York

This opportunity is perfect for an experienced Pharmacy Technician seeking a stable, day-shift role within a closed-door, long-term care pharmacy setting. The position involves preparing and packaging medications accurately to ensure timely delivery to residents, supporting medication inventory management, and maintaining precise patient and medication records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose formats
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring expiration dates and storage conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and medication records to comply with facility protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support smooth day-to-day operations in a high-volume environment averaging approximately 600 prescriptions per day
• Operate the Frameworks software system (training provided)

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am 5:00 pm
• Rotating weekends

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• NY State Pharmacy Technician License preferred but not required
• PTCB certification preferred but not required
• Comfortable working in a long-term care pharmacy environment
