Pharmacy Tech - Nanuet, New York

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician in Bardonia, New York, supporting a closed-door long-term care (LTC) facility. This role requires preparing medications for resident delivery while maintaining accurate records and managing inventory.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose formats for timely distribution to residents.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, ensuring proper storage conditions and monitoring expiration dates.
• Maintain precise patient and medication records in compliance with facility standards.
• Utilize the Frameworks software system for pharmacy operations; training is provided.

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• New York State Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-volume environment processing approximately 600 prescriptions per day.
