Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Our client, a forward-thinking enterprise in the IT and software development space, is seeking an accomplished Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to enhance their development team. This position is based in our Virginia Beach, Virginia, US office. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with a passion for building robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that meet complex business requirements. Key responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will also mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and champion best practices in software development. Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is highly valued. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven ability to tackle challenging technical problems and deliver high-quality software. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. A minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, with significant exposure to both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring) technologies, is essential. Proficiency in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL) is also required. Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms is critical. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills are a must. The ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment within our Virginia Beach, Virginia, US office is essential.
