The Live Stream Technician Video Editor position is an event production-based technical role encompassing troubleshooting, streaming, production of live stream and live recorded events, and editing and organizing raw footage into polished content. This is a full time position and will require some travel to venues in and around the Atlanta area. Flexibility is key as the work schedule is not fixed, and hours may vary from day to day. Duties and responsibilities:

• Participate in pre-production planning and production of live stream events
• Operate cameras, switch equipment, and on-screen text and graphics edit controller
• Utilize audio mixing equipment, manipulate studio lighting, and control the studio mics
• Direct multi-camera studio equipment and video switching
• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Manage timelines and production schedules by communicating with the team
• Perform routine video and audio equipment maintenance
• Operate the portable equipment
• Stream video for a variety of internet uses and formats
• Edit video, overlays, clip outtakes, jump cuts etc.
• Ensure smooth running of live streaming

Qualifications include

• Experience with coordinating and filming live events
• Experience using OBS or comparable streaming softwares
• Proficient audio and video production experience
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator)
• Experience with podcast editing software (e.g. Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Audacity, Wavve)
• DP/Camera Operator/Cinematographer experience
• Boom Operator experience
• Digital Loader experience (manage inventory and backup of footage)
• Production Sound Mixer experience (responsible for recording all sound on set)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate between relevant parties
