Senior Associate / Counsel – Construction Attorney

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Offit Kurman is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel to join our Construction Practice Group in our Philadelphia office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and growing team that provides practical, business-focused legal solutions to a diverse range of clients in the construction industry.

About the Practice

Our team represents a broad range of industry stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, engineers, interior designers, visual artists, owners, developers, and sureties.

Responsibilities

• Represent owners, contractors, and subcontractors in construction-related matters and litigation
• Handle matters involving a variety of construction matters and construction litigation
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs
• Manage contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and risk management matters
• Participate in mediations and arbitrations

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant construction law experience
• Licensed in at least 2 of the following jurisdictions: PA, NJ, DE
• Strong experience in construction litigation and contract matters
• Proven drafting and analytical skills
• Experience with mediation and arbitration
