Job description
What will you do
Lead the production team, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Handle recruitment, interviews, conflict mediation, and employee development.
Plan team availability in line with the production schedule.
Maintain and monitor production plans, KPIs, visual management, and process standards.
Report on team performance and progress in routine meetings.
Supervise work processes, documentation flow, and measurement tools.
Ensure in-process controls and final product quality meet standards.
Manage autonomous maintenance and request corrective actions as needed.
Implement best practices in management with a focus on EHS, quality, cost, and process optimization.
Oversee the production department’s budget and define its development strategy.
What you need
Required Qualifications
Higher education in technical or production management filed
Min. 5 years of experience in production management
Experience with CNC machining and/or surface finishing technologies
Highly developed interpersonal skills with focus on effective communication.
Knowledge of modern production management methods – lean manufacturing e.g. TPM, 5S, KAIZEN, etc.
Knowledge of English at a communicative level
Knowledge of MS Office
Ability to think analytically and draw conclusions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the medical, automotive or aerospace industries
Knowledge of German or French at a communicative level
