Location: New York City, NY (Onsite)

Job description

What Will They Do

• Design and implement server-side tagging architecture using Google Tag Manager Server-Side
• Build and manage end-to-end event pipelines (client/app → server → analytics & marketing platforms)
• Integrate Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) and enforce consent-based data activation
• Apply privacy controls (PII filtering, masking, regional compliance) before data is shared downstream
• Develop and manage API-based integrations across analytics and advertising ecosystems
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and attribution accuracy across platforms
• Debug and monitor event flows, latency, and discrepancies end-to-end

Core Skills Required

Server-Side Tagging & Tracking

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager Server-Side
• Deep understanding of client-side vs server-side tracking architectures
• Experience with event routing, tagging endpoints, and custom domains

Backend & Integration

• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) or Python
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and webhooks
• Experience working with JSON payloads and event transformations

Consent, Privacy & Governance

• Hands-on experience integrating Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)
• Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and consent frameworks
• Ability to implement consent enforcement and PII protection mechanisms
