Job description

As a Customer Support Technician on the After-Sales Support team, you will make a positive impact by being responsible for:

  • Remotely connecting with customers to identify root causes and resolving issues
  • Diagnose failures in the software operating system and in the database
  • Identify hardware or infrastructure problems
  • Identify, solve, or escalate setting problems during a troubleshooting
  • Identify, solve, or escalate software or system problems during a troubleshooting
  • Interact directly with clients via telephone and email
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Report bugs
  • Set up and install VPN connections

Qualifications we’re looking for.  

  • Experience: 
    • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a Tier II customer facing technical support position.
  • Skills: 
    • Knowledge in TCP / IP networks
    • Knowledge of technologies such as operating systems SQL, Unix, Linux, Windows, Cloud azure – familiar not expert
    • Any programming experience, Front end JavaScript is a plus
    • Fluent English required
    • Azure Cloud Services Cloud Testing, Cloud-Windows Azure, PaaS, Cloud Computing is a plus
  • Abilities: 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner. 
    • Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines and work within a virtual global team environment. 
  • Education:
    • National Diploma in IT
