Job description
In this role, you’ll be at the centre of the UNI APAC business, supporting a diverse portfolio that spans Asia and Australia/New Zealand - from channels like DreamWorks and Universal TV to platforms such as Studio Universal and Oxygen, as well as Bravo in Australia and New Zealand. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day accounting for UPI while supporting other regional entities, managing everything from general ledger activities and financial close to reconciliations, reporting, and cash flow forecasting. Whether it’s preparing budgets, analysing variances, or coordinating intercompany transactions, your work ensures the financial health of multiple markets stays on track.
You’ll work closely with teams across Singapore and Sydney, so proactive communication will be key to your success. On any given day, you’ll collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, P2P, and O2C teams, as well as external partners like auditors and tax agents, to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll also guide a finance intern, helping them navigate processes and build their skills, making you an important mentor within the team.
More broadly, you’ll act as a vital link across the APAC finance ecosystem - connecting regional operations with headquarters and enabling informed decision-making. Your role ensures that the business has accurate, timely financial insights to support its content, channels, and streaming services, ultimately helping drive growth across a fast-paced and evolving media landscape.
