Director or Vice president Business analyst with investment management - OMS/EMS experience is mandatory.

Required Qualifications:

• 7–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in buy-side or investment management technology
• Strong knowledge of front-office trading (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives)
• Hands-on experience with OMS/EMS platforms (Charles River, Bloomberg AIM, Aladdin, Eze, ThinkFolio)
• Deep understanding of trade lifecycle, FIX messaging, and order routing
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with asset managers, hedge funds, or custodian banks
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, 15c3-5, best execution)
• -Familiarity with AWS/Azure, APIs, microservices, and real-time systems
• Experience with Python or scripting languages
• Experience supporting real-time trading environments

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Partner with front-office stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Translate trading and investment concepts into functional specifications and user stories
• Conduct workshops, process reviews, and requirement sessions across trading, risk, and operations teams

Technical Delivery & Solution Design

• Collaborate with engineering teams on OMS/EMS solutions including order routing, execution, and trade lifecycle
• Support data mapping, API design, FIX protocol flows, and system integrations
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with business objectives

Project Execution & Governance

• Lead cross-functional initiatives using Agile or hybrid methodologies
• Create BRDs, FRDs, workflow diagrams, user stories, and test cases
• Manage UAT cycles and coordinate with QA teams for successful deployments

Application Support & Continuous Improvement

• Act as SME for buy-side trading systems and front-office tools
• Troubleshoot production issues related to data, workflows, and trading logic
• Recommend enhancements and best practices for trading platforms.
