Assisting the event operations team, the Banquet Server aids in the successful execution of catering orders and events. Duties comprise event setup, equipment and food transportation, guest service during events, and post-event cleanup.

Job Responsibilities

• Event Coordination: Set up catering and event services in accordance with the requirements outlined by customers and banquet event directives.
• Delivery and transportation services for catering needs, encompassing food, drinks, and all essential supplies to the designated event spots.
• Event Space Organization: Arrange seating, tables, buffet lines, and additional event equipment as outlined in the banquet event itinerary.
• Refill food and beverages as required during the event.
• Preserve the cleanliness of food service spaces to ensure a hygienic and presentable setting for guests.
• Organize clearing up of food and beverage deliveries after service and break down event locations once the event is over.
• Guarantee that all event guests receive exceptional customer service throughout.
• Ensure the observance of safety policies and procedures to guarantee a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Experience:
• Experience working with customers in the past is beneficial.
• Candidates with previous catering experience are preferred.
• Independence is the ability to work self-sufficiently with little supervision.
• Dress expectations: Meeting the expected dress requirements is compulsory.
• The role mandates flexibility in hours, particularly during weekends and evenings for event-based work.
• Fulfilling the obligations of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training is a mandatory component.

Physical Demands

• Tasks that require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.
• Adhering to the uniform policy and deploying the requisite Personal Protective Gear (PPE) when directed.

Education

• Applicants with a high school diploma or a similar equivalent are encouraged to apply.
