The Food Server supports the manager by engaging in food and meal preparation, overseeing cash receipts, and diligently updating meal records. They are also involved in assisting with daily report completion and ensuring that the kitchen adheres to food production, sanitation, and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities for Food Server
- Food Preparation: Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu.
- Daily Update: Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements.
- Meal Components: Understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components.
- Food Storage: Storing food accurately is key to preserving its flavor and nutrients.
- Meal Distribution: Distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies.
- Food Preparation Tools: Ways to operate and look after food preparation tools, especially cutting tools.
- Expedited Food Preparation: Ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages.
- Garnishing: Enhance the visual appeal of your culinary creations and elevate customer satisfaction by incorporating garnishes.
- Cleaning Assistance: Help with the cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities.

Physical Demands for Food Server

Qualifications for Food Server
- Food Service Certification.
