KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (SoQC) to become part of our Enterprise Security Services organization. This position offers you the flexibility to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize your fundamental understanding of IT controls and their ownership.
- Maintain ongoing communication with IT control owners and validate their responsibilities using a detailed Excel list.
- Transfer documented controls and their descriptions into ServiceNow efficiently.
- Initiate certifications within ServiceNow and monitor compliance responses, providing follow-ups as needed.
- Facilitate timely collection of control evidence, ensuring proper evaluation and feedback.
- Oversee the retention and indexing of essential artifacts in restricted SharePoint folders and participate in process and control walkthrough meetings.
- Act with integrity and professionalism, contributing to a respectful and collaborative work atmosphere at KPMG.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of recent experience in risk or security within a large professional services setting is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; relevant certifications such as CPA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP are advantageous; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Knowledge of IT security principles, controls, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with frameworks like PCAOB, SOC, ISO, COBIT, CSA, and ITIL.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills.
