Client Account Analyst
Client Account Analysts help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The Client Account Analyst assists with the development and growth of business through engaging and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. This is a key role that requires an understanding of firm policies, procedures and firm capabilities in order to deliver the full firm to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Support
- Cultivate and improve client relationships by engaging in ongoing communication, addressing client needs, resolving inquiries, providing advice, and ensuring the accuracy of key information and documentation
- Identify and provide assistance with Firm services and solutions that are tailored to meet clients' needs, including banking services and secure, digital solutions like Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
- Authenticate authorization and validate the identity of the customer when processing their requests
- Take care of client accounts, which involves gathering client details and mandatory documentation, executing money transfer operations as a demonstration
- Evaluate and respond to client account notifications promptly
Other
- Team up with financial advisors to formulate a solid business plan and implement a client service approach successfully
- Support the team's marketing strategy by maintaining marketing assets, online and social media channels, and planning client-oriented events and informational seminars
- Engage in ongoing training and educational opportunities that support the company's strategic priorities, personal development, and staying informed about policies, procedures, and new technologies, and make it a priority to attend designated monthly training sessions for field service professionals
- Support Financial Advisors by performing administrative functions such as managing telephone calls, organizing travel plans, scheduling client appointments, creating travel expense reports, and updating filing systems and schedules
- Participate eagerly in initiatives guided by local managers
- Regularly seek opportunities to use firm resources for peer sharing and collaborating with Financial Advisors
Academic background, applied experience, expertise, and abilities are integral parts of one's skill repertoire:
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma/Equivalency
- College degree preferred
- It is beneficial to have industry exposure
- Readiness to secure Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) qualifications
Knowledge/Skills
- Skilled in computer operations and well-acquainted with the functionalities of Microsoft Office programs
- Exceptional proficiency in writing, interpersonal interactions, and customer support skills
- Recognized for being detail-oriented and possessing exceptional organizational skills, consistently able to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Displays adeptness in teamwork and interacting collaboratively with coworkers
- Proficiency in navigating a rapidly evolving and fast-paced work environment
- Goal-oriented, internally motivated, and oriented towards achieving outcomes
