Cashier

Job Description :We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions and managing the checkout process. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain items to be purchased.
• Operate cash registers, scanners, and handle cash, credit, or check transactions quickly and accurately.
• Provide information on procedures, policies, and promotions to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
