Cashier

Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing sales transactions. This role is key to ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by handling cash, credit, and debit payments promptly and professionally. 

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies.
• Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, and store policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in cashiering or retail customer service is an advantage.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
