Job description

Detailed ResponsibilitiesExecute circuit design activities for power electronics hardware used in EV traction inverter systems.Study input requirements, applicable specifications, and design constraints for assigned tasks.Perform component selection and support RFQ generation for approved design concepts.Conduct engineering calculations including worst-case analysis, power loss estimation, and efficiency calculation.Support design optimization for electrical performance, thermal behavior, manufacturability, and cost.Coordinate technically with application engineers and other interfacing teams during design and validation activities.Prepare unit test specifications, review test conditions, and establish required test setups.Carry out unit testing and high-voltage testing of the developed hardware.Investigate hardware failures and support root cause analysis and corrective action definition.Document test outcomes and prepare reports for internal and customer reviews.Create and update OPLs arising from review discussions and support closure tracking.Develop required test jigs and fixtures for execution of validation activities.Support commissioning and initial bring-up of hardware during prototype evaluation.
