Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in the Mysuru region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and establishing strong client relationships within your territory. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on sales expertise to achieve organizational objectives and expand our market presence in Mysuru and surrounding areas.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed regional sales targets and revenue goals
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to deliver exceptional performance and maintain high morale
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, client engagement, negotiation, and closing deals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the Mysuru region
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to senior management
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members for continuous improvement
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and resource allocation to optimize team productivity
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and ethical business practices
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales management experience with a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, staff development, and performance management
- Strong proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales analytics tools
- Excellent negotiation, closing, and consultative selling skills
- Comprehensive understanding of sales strategy development and territory management
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with the Mysuru region market or South India business landscape (preferred)
- Experience in developing and implementing sales forecasting and pipeline management processes (preferred)
- Knowledge of B2B or B2C sales environments and market dynamics (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software platforms (preferred)
