In-house Legal Advisor

Iason Hellenic Shipping Co Ltd. is looking for a seasoned In-house Legal Advisor . The ideal candidate will be particularly organized, responsible, service minded and a great team player.

· Qualified English Solicitor and Qualified Lawyer in Greece; · 5+ years of experience as an in-house legal advisor in a shipping company, P&I Club or as a private practice lawyer advising on matters pertaining to shipping; · Experienced in non-contentious legal work (contracting, finance, general corporate) as well as familiarity with contentious legal work (claims handling, dispute resolution under LMAA) and marine insurance is a must; · Domain of expertise: maritime law, corporate law, banking and finance law; · Knowledgeable in the legal framework pertaining to SPVs, corporate governance, due diligence etc.; · Proven ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; · Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; · Excellent level of English; · PC literate (MS Office);
