Job description

At Nelios, we build the digital front door for some of Greece’s most stunning hotels. As a certified "Great Place to Work" for three years running and a Google Premier Partner , we’ve carved out a space where innovation meets a genuinely supportive culture. We believe that when our people flourish, our clients do too. Right now, we are looking for a talented Web Developer who understands the rhythm of a digital agency and thrives on the variety that comes with it and working within a team of developers who have each other's backs. What you'll be doing: As part of our development squad, you’ll be the bridge between a designer’s vision and a user’s reality. Your day-to-day will be a mix of the "new" and the "now." On one hand, you’ll be collaborating with designers and marketers to launch high-performance websites for the hospitality sector. On the other, you’ll be a vital guardian of our existing projects. Whether it’s executing a complex new feature, diving into API development projects, or jumping in to handle minor daily fixes and optimizations, you take pride in it all. You understand that a seamless user experience depends just as much on a quick bug fix as it does on a brand-new homepage. Why join Nelios? Because we believe great websites start with great people! You'll be part of a supportive, creative workplace that values your ideas, growth, and work-life balance. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the travel industry while working with inspiring colleagues in a fun, collaborative environment.

Proven experience from a similar position in a digital agency. A solid background in front-end essentials like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, specifically with frameworks like React or Next.js. Experience with back-end languages such as Node.js, PHP or Python. Practical experience with API development. Familiarity with Laravel, WordPress or custom-built CMS platforms. A "clean code" philosophy, using Git to keep things organized. A mindset that values both high-level builds and the essential daily support/troubleshooting that keeps our clients' sites at peak performance. Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
