Job description
We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Global Strategy team. As a Risk & Regulatory Strategy Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our international expansion. Your primary focus will be on evaluating new market entries, spearheading overseas financial license applications, and re-engineering compliance workflows to ensure operational excellence as we scale globally. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Research & Expansion: Conduct in-depth research on regulatory frameworks in target jurisdictions (e.g. SE Asia, Middle East). Evaluate capital requirements, licensing costs, and operational obligations. License Management: Project manage the end-to-end application process for international financial licenses, coordinating with external legal counsel and local regulators. Process Optimization: Analyze existing compliance and risk management workflows. Design and implement automated or optimized processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Strategic Advisory: Provide actionable insights to senior management on the impact of evolving global regulations on the firm's CFD and brokerage business models. Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the product, legal, and operational teams to ensure new products meet multi-jurisdictional standards.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. 8 years or above in a reputable consultancy firm Risk Advisory team or a leading law firm specializing in financial services. Track record in international financial license applications (e.g., FCA, ASIC, CySEC, SCB, or similar). Excellent command of English and Mandarin. Ideal Mindset & Behavioral Profile: Navigating Ambiguity: You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and are capable of transforming complex, ill-defined regulatory challenges into concrete, executable business pathways. Autonomous Execution: You possess a high degree of ownership and self-discipline; you can drive projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision, setting your own benchmarks for success. Adaptive Resilience: You demonstrate agility in the face of shifting global regulatory landscapes. Rather than being deterred by setbacks, you pivot strategies rapidly to maintain momentum and achieve objectives.
