Quality Control Supervisor

Park Paving Ltd. is a well-established road construction company with a 50-year history of excellence in Edmonton. We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Supervisor to lead our quality control team and ensure that all paving projects meet and exceed industry standards. As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will oversee daily quality assurance activities, supervise technicians, and coordinate with project managers to maintain the highest level of project quality and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Supervise and provide guidance to Quality Control Technicians Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols Review and interpret test results, ensuring compliance with industry standards Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding quality issues Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and material quality Manage and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to quality control Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Train and mentor new quality control staff Continuous improvement of quality control processes

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Proven experience in quality control within the road construction industry Previous supervisory or leadership experience Strong knowledge of asphalt, concrete, and aggregate testing methods Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and team management abilities Valid Class 5 driver's license Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments and manage multiple projects
