Medical Receptionist

Medical Receptionist | Outpatient | Full-time | 660 Merrimon Ave Ste C Asheville, NC 28804 Physio Physical Therapy & Wellness, an H2 Health company , is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to join our outpatient therapy clinic in Asheville, NC. This role supports daily front office operations and helps ensure a positive, efficient experience for every patient. This position is responsible for patient scheduling, front desk operations, insurance verification, and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed Collect co-pays and maintain accurate patient records Enter and update information in EMR systems Support daily clinic operations and coordinate with clinical staff Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or front desk role preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Experience with insurance verification and scheduling preferred Basic computer and data entry skills required Work Environment Full-time position On-site in Beckley, WV Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
