SASMAR is on the lookout for a proactive and strategic Product Innovation Manager to join our innovative team. Headquartered in Malta, SASMAR is a prominent pharmaceutical company specializing in personal care and fertility products, particularly renowned for our Conceive Plus brand. With a presence in over 70 countries, we are dedicated to developing high-quality products sold through pharmacies, supermarkets, and clinics worldwide. As the Product Innovation Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering product initiatives from conception through to successful market launch. This position requires working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, R&D, and Operations, to develop and deliver products that meet consumer needs and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee the complete product development lifecycle from ideation to commercialization. Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint consumer needs, preferences, and emerging trends. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively to ensure timely product launches. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate market data into actionable product concepts. Maintain and manage product specifications, focusing on formulation and packaging requirements. Coordinate product testing phases including stability, efficacy, and consumer feedback assessments. Ensure all new and existing products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards. Analyze and evaluate existing product lines, recommending enhancements or new developments. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to spot opportunities for innovation.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in product development, ideally within the pharmaceutical or personal care sectors. Strong project management skills with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of regulations and compliance specific to product development. Experience with market research techniques and consumer insights analysis. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Adept at working in a collaborative team environment. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. Competence in analytical skills and decision-making processes. Familiarity with project management tools and software platforms. Have full permission to live/work in Malta without a visa.
