Principal Electrical Engineer

Our Resources + Industry team have an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Perth office. This role will be focused on enhancing our local electrical engineering capabilities, capacity and client base. You will utilise your strong communication and technical skills to up-skill the current team and work on a range of mining, industrial and civil infrastructure projects.

How you’ll make a difference:

• Manage electrical components of projects across all phases of the project lifecycle including: feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement assistance, site construction and commissioning

• Collaborate with skilled Engineers across a range of diverse projects within resources / industrial, transport, water and buildings

• Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies

• Support ANZ industrial decarbonisation studies

• Mentor, develop and guide junior engineers whilst playing an active part in growing your team in size and capability.

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree

• Proven engineering / design experience within mining, local government or heavy industry sectors

• Exposure to the design and specification of industrial systems such as HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems and motor controls.

• Proficient in producing engineering documentation such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports and scope of works.
