Nanyang International School (NIS) – Business Development & Marketing Manager About NIS: Nanyang International School (NIS) is a private education institution offering quality education from Year 1 to Year 12. The school emphasizes academic excellence and prepares students for international pathways. Position Overview: We are seeking a hands-on, execution-driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to drive student recruitment growth across Asia and build a scalable marketing and enrolment system. This is a build-and-execute role, focused on practical implementation rather than just strategy. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Marketing Systems - Build and manage a comprehensive lead generation funnel (ads/content → enquiry → prospectus → follow-up → enrolment). - Develop and manage the school website, including lead capture forms, autoresponder for automatic prospectus delivery, and video integration. - Implement and manage CRM or tracking systems for enquiries and conversions. Content & Social Media Execution - Plan, produce, and publish content across platforms such as Xiaohongshu, TikTok, YouTube, WeChat, Instagram, and Facebook. - Script and oversee video production, including student stories, school branding, and webinars. - Manage a consistent content pipeline with weekly output. Marketing Collateral & Conversion Assets - Design and manage marketing materials including digital and print prospectuses, landing pages, banners, posters, exhibition materials, webinar decks, and video backdrops. - Ensure all materials are optimized for conversion, not just branding. Webinars, Events & Exhibitions - Plan and execute webinars targeting international students (China, ASEAN, etc.). - Manage registration, delivery, and post-event follow-up. - Coordinate participation in education fairs and exhibitions. Sales Funnel & Conversion Optimisation - Track and improve the process from enquiries to applications to enrolments. - Work closely with the sales/admissions team to improve conversion rates. - Ensure timely follow-up of all leads. Compliance & Regulatory Alignment - Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with EduTrust / CPE requirements and advertising/platform regulations, especially for China platforms. Vendor & Project Management - Source and manage external vendors such as designers, web developers, and videographers. - Ensure timely and quality delivery of all marketing assets. Performance Tracking & Reporting - Track key metrics including cost per lead, cost per enrolment, and conversion rates by channel. - Provide regular reports and recommendations for optimisation. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in education marketing or student recruitment. - Proven ability to generate leads and drive enrolments. - Hands-on experience with website management (basic CMS or coordination with developers), social media platforms (China and international), and content/video production. - Strong understanding of international student recruitment markets, with preference for experience in China or ASEAN regions. - Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both English and Chinese. - Strong execution ability, able to work independently and deliver results. Key Success Metrics: - Number of qualified leads generated. - Conversion rate from enquiry to enrolment. - Cost per enrolment. - Growth in international student numbers.
